Tumaini Supermarket looted as Kisumu anti-IEBC demos turn chaotic.

On Friday the ant-IEBC demonstrations was witnessed  across the country to push for their demands before the October 26 presidential poll.

NASA leader Raila Odinga announced that the coalition would be embarking on weekly protests, every Monday and Friday, to force the electoral commission to implement specific changes before the repeat presidential election set for October 26 among the issue they need resolved is to  force IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba out of office.

Looting and vandalized water pipes

In Kisumu the demonstrations turned chaotic after demonstrators broke into and looted Tumaini Supermarket they broke the windows and main entrance of the supermarket, attacked staff before looting.

In Homa Bay, Governor Cyprian Awiti was among demonstrators teargassed as protests against the IEBC turned chaotic.His Deputy Hamilton Orata was clobbered by the police after protests turned violent.

The demostrators also vandalized water pipes that are believed to belong to Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company (Kiwasco) leading to them to issue water shortage notice. Among the areas that will be affected include Milimani,CBD,Tom Mboya,Migosi,Nyawita and Lolwe Mamboleo.
