Nairobi Metropolitan Services in partnership with Population Services (PS)
Kenya and Naivas Supermarkets is today launching distribution of HIV selftesting kits using vending machines. The vending machines will play a critical
role in distribution of the HIVST kits with limited human interaction to ensure
COVID 19 mitigation measures are observed while offering a chance to
unreached population to test and know their HIV status.
“In the spirit of Public Private partnership, we are glad to partner with Nairobi
Metropolitan Services and Naivas supermarket in launching this initiative that
seeks to encourage employees to know their HIV status conveniently and
discreetly using HIV Self Testing Kits. This way they are able to make informed
sexual and reproductive health choices.” said Joyce Wanderi, Chief Executive
Officer PS Kenya.
