The Cabinet Secretary National Treasury and Planning Hon. Amb. Ukur Yatani today launched the 2nd wave report on the socio-economic impact of Covid-19 on households.
The report highlights the pandemic’s impact mainly on health, labour market, transport cost and housing. The Cabinet Secretary said the information contained in the report will help the government provide targeted response and offer sound formulation of strategies and policies necessary for developing interventions to cushion households.
CS Yatani thanked all the Kenyans who participated in the survey as their feedback will aid the nation in mitigating against the effects of the pandemic.
