Kisumu County Governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o held talks with his Nandi counterpart Governor Stephen Sang’ as a sign of expressing their intention to strengthen the ties that bind both Kisumu and Nandi counties in a meeting that was chaired by the Cabinet Secretary of Interior Security and Coordination of National Government, Fred Matiang’i at Waterbuck Hotel in Nakuru.
The leaders discussed issues that affects the citizens of the two counties including poverty, unemployment and mismanagement of sugar industries
The Governor said they will allow constitutionally mandated bodies such as IEBC and the National Lands Commission to deal with the boundaries issues between the two counties.
