A family in Suna Central, Migori county is appealing for medical funds to treat their 20 year old son who’s been bed ridden for close to a decade.
James Ojwang and his wife Joseph Omondi say their son joseph Omondi was diagnosed with cerebral malaria at a tender age of 3 but his condition exacerbated on his 10 birthday with a series of convulsions and memory lapse.
Attempts to seek medical attention from health facilities within the county were futile as he was eventually red ridden and has since been unable to talk or communicate in any other way.
The family is now calling for any kind of assistance that would help restore mobility of their son.
