Dr. Jaquelin Castillo Matamoros, the Cuban doctor posted to serve Siaya County reported to work on Tuesday. The Consultant Family Physician with 17 years of experience in her field of specialization also paid a courtesy call to Governor Cornel Rasanga.
It is the Siaya people’s expectation that Dr Jaquelin will demonstrate commitment and exceptional standards thereby serving as a best practice case study to the entire Siaya County Healthcare Staff.
Dr. Jaquelin has been posted at the Siaya County Referral Hospital and will offer specialized services and technical back up to existing staff.
Siaya County is expected to receive one more Cuban Health Specialist in the next few days to help meet specialized services gaps within the County Healthcare System.
