Junnet team offering door to door face-mask and sannitizer’s distribution to fight Covid-1


Suna East Member of Parliament Personal aid Charles Ogejo Ochieng has urged the residents to use the Covid-19’s pendamic break to invest in agricultural activities.
Ogejo Mayor said this will help avert a looming food crisis as a result of the prolonged flooding last season.
Speaking during the distribution of over 5,000 facemasks and 500 litres of hand wash sanitizers courtesy of the area Mp Junnet Mohammed, Ogejo told the residents to use the partial lockdown witnessed in the country to work in farms since the harvests were poor last season due to prolonged floods and hailstorms.
He said weather patterns are unpredictable and coupled with the coronavirus pandemic, the constituemts should brace for even tougher times thus should not deplete food reserves.
The traders led by Joseph Onyango said they’ve been faced with challanges as law enforcers keep chasing them away from shops should they miss wearing masks.
He said they don’t know whereabouts of their customers hence the distributed materials will help them fight Covid-19.
