The Kenya Tourism Board organised a one day tourism stakeholders forum held at Grand Royal Swiss Hotel, Kisumu on June 25, 2018.
The forum featured the Lake Region Economic Bloc member counties, tourism private sector players that include hoteliers, tour operators among other service providers in the industry.
The Forum was opened by the Kisumu County Tourism CEC Ms. Achie Alai who is also the National CEC Caucus Chair for Tourism and Wildlife. Kenya Tourism Board CEO Dr. Betty Radier made her remarks and urged the region to put more efforts and come up with signature products that are able to be sold to the international markets.
Other presentations were made by Kenya Association of Hotel Caterers, and Kenya Association of Tour Operators.
