The four leaders in Kisumu County who had resolved to work as a team ahead of the coming polls have intensified their campaigns to topple Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o.
The leaders, Senator Fred Outa, former governor Jack Ranguma, former CAS Ken Obura and former Speaker Onyango Oloo traversed Muhoroni Sub County with one message to the people to vote for change for the position of the governor in August this year.
Outa says they had buried their hatchet with Ranguma following the 2017 election and are now ready to work together.
He says for a better Kisumu, Governor Nyong’o must be replaced at the ballot.
Oloo on the other hand blamed the Nyong’o administration for corruption owing to fire incidences reported at the county during his tenure.
Oloo says Nyanza Governors have been a let down to devolution.
Obura too took Governor Nyong’o on the poor state of the health care.
He says public hospitals are in shortage of essential drugs for patients.
Obura says the people of Kisumu will reap the benefits of devolution if they make a change in leadership of Kisumu County.
Ranguma who is the pioneer Governor of Kisumu says he is part of the team that will bring change to the people of Kisumu County.
