A section of Uriri elders has endorsed the elevation of businessman Jared Kwaga to the community spokesperson.The endorsement by the elders now makes him the spokesperson for the entire Kanyamkago region.
The elders led by Dickson Olengo Abila and Jackson Osoo noted that the constituency was approaching transition and is at crossroads where the community needed to find a voice to articulate its issues.
They stated that Uriri constituency needed to be at the political high table where the destiny of the nation will be negotiated it’s important to have a trusted pair of hands and a man who believes in fairness.
Accepting the endorsement, Kwaga said he is ready to pick the mantle and take Uriri to the next level. He said many projects expected by members of the constituency which were never tackled since 2017.
