Education cabinet secretary George Magoha has visited Migori and Kisii Counties to assess the level of preparedness of institutions ahead of reopening.
While on a courtesy call to Migori Govenor Zachary obado, the CS Education George Magoha has hinted that with the coming down of covid 19 figures, plans might change as far as reopening of schools is concern.
Magoha said that the education sector is held hostage by the pandemic and there is the need to keep monitoring and get ready to resume when the virus is under control.
On his part Migori Govenor Zachary Obado called on parents to keep check on the students while they are at home to avoid uncalled for misconduct in the society.
The CS is scheduled to access the level of preparedness in the higher learning institutions in the county including Rongo University.
