Migori county deputy Governor Mahanga Mwita has vowed never to follow his boss Okoth Obado to PDP.

Mahanga said he is a live member of ODM and Obado’s ideologies to swap to his current party which he is the leader was a personal decision.

The DG who was speaking in Ntimaru area of Kuria East, Migori county said he has fought for the party for many years and ODM is already having good roots in Kuria thus he cannot abandon them. He said he is still in active politics despite rumours that he’ll retire as their two terms end.

Mahanga said his political dream is not yet achieved and is soon announcing his next move but ruled out deputy governor and assembly speaker positions.

Despite being a strong supporter of ODM and Raila Amollo Odinga, the DG said he will never stop criticizing the party whenever they go wrong.

He said Azimio la Umoja could have come years ago since the country needs peace for it’s development. Mwita also supported Raila’s ambition of becoming the 5th president of Kenya insisting that it is his time to lead the country.
