Relatives confirm the news that Ndemo Nyagarama, the son to Nyamira Governor, John Nyagarama passed away on Monday evening in a hospital in Nairobi while receiving treatment after a long battle with Meningitis. An infection which can affect the central nervous system which when found should be treated immediately or it can be a life-threatening.
Mr Momanyi said that his 44 years brother Ndemo had been hospitalized at a city facility for about two months. “He has been unwell for a while and we have been taking care of him and we are grateful to the Nairobi family for taking care of him. Unfortunately he has left us”., said Mr Momanyi who did not reveal the name of the hospital.
Mr Nyagarama has been in the us for close to two months on what county officials say is official tour. The governor’s press Director Kefa Miller had earlier said the county chief was out for purposes of enhancing partnerships with investors.
