Governor Cornel Rasanga vowed to crush the corruption monster in Siaya County during his last term in office.
Speaking in Kisumu at The Kisumu Restoration Church, Ofafa ground where the Governor joined worshipers earlier on Sunday, he mentioned the ongoing purge at The Department of Finance as tips of the iceberg and the clearest indication that all stones will be turned to bring to book those plundering public resources.
The governor was optimistic that through team work from both the executive and the assembly, the corruption dragon will be slayed ultimately within the confines of his legacy term.
The Governor was accompanied by County Executive Committee Members Charles Ogada (Agriculture), Benard Mboha (Roads), Adrian Ouma (Water), Dr. Elizabeth Omondi (Tourism), George Rubik (Governance) and MCAs Joseph Mboha (South East Alego) and Olasi (West Uyoma)
Also in the Governor’s entourage were Dr. Omondi Owino (Ag. CO Health), Walter Okelo (Chief of Staff) and Jerry William Ochieng (Communication Director) among others.
