Madam Ruth Odinga, The Senior Adviser to the Governor on Matters Special Programmes, Women, Youth and Disaster Management recently toured the National Training Institute Authority in Kisumu.
This was in line with the National Governments’ Big 4 AGENDA on Affordable Housing and Slum Upgrading projects in which 500-600 thousand housing units are to be realised by the year 2022.
Her tour of the facility was in an effort to ensure that our Women and Youth are adequately prepared on the technical skills required once the projects hit the ground in July 2018.
Her main objective being, to have the Women and Youth absorbed within the construction sites and the projects.
To her delight, Madam Ruth was very happy to meet with Women upcoming Electricians, Masons, Plumbers and Mechanics.
She was accompanied by the Center’s Manager Madam Mary Wamoko Mugure .
