A hole dug in the wall connecting the supermarket and the hotel where thieves dug through and took unknown amount of cash and electronics.

The newly opened Shivling supermarket in Kondele, Kisumu was last night robbed.
The supermarket is next to a hotel, where the thieves dug through and took unknown amount of cash and electronics.
It is reported that the hotel had booked one customer last night in one of the rooms that shares a wall with the supermarket.
Workers reported to work  today morning and noticed a dug hole on the wall.
A staff who sought to remain anonymous reported that they reported to work and noticed an abnomality.
“We saw bags used for carrying money at the crime scene, we can’t know how much is stolen,” he said.
The suspect while inside his room dug the wall and gained entry.
Cash and TV sets were found missing.
Kisumu county commander Ranson Lolmondoni confirmed the incident saying hotel management is helping with investigations.
“It is true, thugs broke into the supermarket and stole,” he confirmed.
The supermarket which is dorminat inSouth Nyanza is nearly one month old after taking stores initially occupied by Choppies.
Just two weeks ago, a painter died in the area after being electrocuted.
