Siaya County Executive Committee Members urged to practice self discipline as they conduct their duties

Siaya County Deputy Governor Dr. James Ouko Okumbe has emphasized to the newly sworn in County Executive Committee Members (C.E.C.Ms) on the importance of self discipline and effective performance towards the growth of a new Siaya as the four take over their various offices.
Speaking during the official handing over/taking over ceremony at the County Government Headquarters on Wednesday, the Deputy Governor expressed his confidence in the appointees as talented, competent and a true reflection of the best of Siaya County.
The new County Executive Committee Members, bringing to a close the protracted nine months process, expressed their gratitude to the Governor and his Deputy and promised to put their blood, sweat and tears in ensuring that Siaya County is a case study of excellence.
Reiterating the Deputy Governor’s sentiments, C.E.C.M for Governance and Administration, Mr. George Rubic encouraged his colleagues to prudently use their offices for the benefit of all. County Secretary, Mr. Dave Anyona instructed the new team to quickly develop awareness of all sections in their departments, that the necessary paper work is put in place and that most importantly, ensure all have a status report of all the Government projects every while.
