Kisumu county government establishes a Lake front development corporation to improve the economy of the region using the lake.
Governor Nyong’o says they have created a frame work of corporation under the Lake front corporation to improve the blue economy by reclamation of the reparian land on the lake, provision of safe transport in the lake, opening up and dredging of the lake.
He further asks the residents and consumers of from the lake region to live harmoniously without endangering the environment.
