Tottenham have confirmed that Lucas Moura will leave the club at the end of the 2022/23 Premier League season following the conclusion of his contract. Signed from PSG in January 2018, the Brazilian, to date, has scored 38 goals in 219 appearances for the Lilywhites.

Moura Scored a number of important goals in his time in north London, supporters will always remember the player’s contribution on their way to the Champions League final after his semi-final hat-trick heroics away at Ajax. His double in the 3-0 win over Manchester United and his flying header at Man City seconds after his introduction from the bench will also live long in the memory.

Having featured prominently over the past four seasons, Moura has been used less frequently for Tottenham this season and has made just 13 Premier League appearances, with injury not helping his cause. He has also been involved for Tottenham Under-21 side this season. 

Tottenham host Brentford on Saturday in what could be Moura’s final home appearance for the club. They then conclude the campaign away to Leeds. 

In August 2019 Moura scored just 19 seconds after coming on against Manchester City.
