Migori governor Dr. Ochilo Ayacko has put the county’s ghost workers on notice.
Ayacko while speaking during the swearing in Ceremony of the first 6 of the 10 members of his cabinet said the county has lost Millions of shillings in corruption and unwarranted wage bills.
He said a fresh human resources audit will be necessary in elimination of ghost workers from the system.
The governor challenged the new county executive committee members to roll ups their sleeves and offer the required services to the public.
He said the County’s health, education and health sectors have been greatly affected by poor service delivery before and during the 2022 transition period.
Ayacko added that his government is committed to allocating funds towards education for children from Vulnerable families.
