Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who is aspiring for the seat of Nairobi Senatorial seat has appealed to the Government to increase bursary fund allocation to cushion the high cost of living.
She further urged those responsible in the exercise to do it during day time to portray transparency.
Addressing the Muslim leaders drawn from various regions, Bishop Wanjiru condemned the demolition of houses, buildings , mosques,and markets without offering compensation.
“its inhuman for someone to demolish markets , mosques, buildings and business premises without offering alternative sites, when we take over God willing, UDA will stop all this demolitions and create a better conducive environment.”she noted.
The muslim leaders were led by Ustadh Hassan Ali Amir who is the chairman of the council of Imams & preachers of Kenya(CIPK).
