K’ogalo maintained top Spot after defeating Slum Boys.


Gor Mahia moved Four points clear in the FKF Premier league encounter after beating Mathare United 2-1 Yesterday at Kasarani stadium.

K’ogalo who entered the game one point ahead of second placed Tusker, were the first to smile after rightback Phelemon Otieno netted their first goal in the 25th minute before slum boys got back into the game in the 40th minute courtesy of Ronald Sichenje’s hard shot.

Mathare united who has been on a winless run for their past five encounters could not put up with Gor Mahia’s pressure and in the 60th minute, Bonface Omondi scored brilliantly to make it two for the host after a defence mistake from the slum boys.

Gor Mahia are now four points clear a head of their closest challengers Tusker who were held to a barren draw by Naiobi City stars.

Elsewhere, Kakamega Homeboyz won Wazito 1-0 at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega as Kenya Police dimmed Bidco FC 2-0 courtesy of a Elvis Rupia double in the 12th and 80th minute.

Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) stumble run in the title race continued when they drew 0-0 with coach-less Bandari FC at the Kasarani Annex.
