Migori county woman representative Dr. Pamela Odhiambo wants the ODM party to conduct a free and fair party nomination ahead of the 2022 general election to give equal platform to all aspirants eyeing party ticket in the coming election. Dr. Odhiambo who is also eyeing the Migori gubernatorial seat said ODM party members should be given an opportunity to nominate their leaders in the anticipated ODM party nominations. She said there are political leaders for various political positions that are already going round claiming that the party tickets is reserved for some individual. Dr. Odhiambo said such claims are weakening the ODM party and should be discouraged adding that they are ready for a free and fair ODM party nomination and expect the same from the party leadership. In his remarks over the weekend, Suna West MP Peter Masara said they don’t need nomination since they already fought for the party from 2017 general election.
