The funeral arrangements of the late Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth are set to proceed as earlier planned, after warring factions struck a deal before a Nairobi Court.

Speaking to the media after reaching an agreement, Okoth’s family lawyer Edwin Sifuna said that the two sides had agreed to have DNA test conducted to determine if Jayden is the son of the late.

“Sample of DNA are being taken between now and 4pm and Jayden has been allowed to be part of the burial programe,” said Sifuna.

Okoth’s alleged secret lover and nominated city MCA Anne Thumbi had moved to Court and obtained an order stopping the intermittent plans until his son Jayden Baraka Okoth is recognized and allowed to take part in the plans.
