Residents of Kasarani and Kiambu can now access quality and affordable medical services at the newly opened Equity Afia Kasarani and Equity Afia Kiambu Medical Centres.
Located opposite Vision Plaza along the Thika Super Highway, Equity Afia Kasarani has been established to meet the increasing demand of quality and affordable medical care, thus complementing services offered by government, other private healthcare providers and the already operational Equity Afia Kahawa West Medical Centre.
On the other hand, the newly opened Equity Afia Kiambu Medical Centre is located at Pongezi Plaza along Kiambu’s Biashara Street. The new clinic is set to serve the residents of the growing Kiambu Town and the neighboring estates, eliminating the need to travel far in search of quality, affordable medical care.
Commenting on the opening of the two medical facilities, Equity Group Foundation Executive Director, Reuben Mbindu said, “We remain committed to providing quality, affordable, preventive and primary healthcare services in Kenya. These two new clinics will go a long way in expanding our outreach network in Kenya allowing us to serve more people.”

Over the next few years, the Foundation targets to increase its outreach to all parts of the country.
“Additionally, we are committed to the government’s agenda on universal health coverage and have already partnered with NHIF in offering services to the current active members under the various medical schemes. Our versatility and flexibility allows us to serve more Kenyans therefore improving their quality of life,” added Mbindu.
Among the services offered include general consultation services, specialized clinics like obstetrics and gynaecology, well-baby clinics, dental services, optical services, dermatological services, paediatric services and nutrition services among others and are supported by well-equipped laboratories and stocked pharmacies.

The main goal is to ensure sustained improvement of the health and well-being of Kenyans by increasing access to and utilization of quality, affordable and standardized healthcare.
