Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) will in August 2018, host one of the biggest music weekend to be held in East Africa, The Terminal Music Weekend. The two-day event will bring together six international artistes and six local artistes.
American singer and song writer Keri Hilson will be one of the international artists and joined by an ‘A’ list international DJ as well as four others. Kaligraph Jones and Habida will be among the local artists.
The Terminal Music Weekend which will be an annual event derives its name from the terminal at an airport. The aim of the event is to bring people together from all over the world and all walks of life, just like at an airport terminal, to one music weekend.
The event will run on Friday August 3rd and Saturday, 4th where both the international and Kenyan artists will share the stage – unlike other events where the local acts just curtain raise.
