Students encouraged to embrace kindness and sincerity in their daily lives.

Kisumu County Minister for Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture Achie Alai on July 5 attended the Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day as the guest of honour at Braeburn Kisumu International School (BKIS), where she encouraged the students to embrace goodness, kindness and sincerity in their daily lives.
She shared with the parents and staff the work the County Government is doing in tourism, sports and cultural matters. She also elaborated the county government plan on branding as a marketing and socioeconomic tool to bolster confidence in residents and investors alike.
BKIS Group Managing Director Rob Williams, who has been with the school for over 30 years, explained how 11 years ago the school took the step to set up an international school in Kisumu to fill the gap for residents who desired the different education syllabus.
He confirmed that the school had acquired about 10 acres of land just after the airport and would begin construction for a larger campus presently. As the County Government continues on its drive to engage new organisations into the region Braeburn is committed to address the demand for international education.
