“He has not been contacted by Real Madrid yet” Says brother of former Blues Coach

Conte emerges top canditate to replace Julen Lopetegui at los Blancos
The former Chelsea boss has been out of work after leaving the blues last season. However there have been reports that state he will suceed Julen Lopetegui at Real Madrid.

According to Antonio Conte’s brother he says that conte is yet to be approached by Real Madrid regarding a possible rescue mission at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With Julen Lopetegui having fallen under ever-increasing pressure in the Spanish capital, another change in the dugout is being mooted.

A torrid start to the 2018-19 campaign has led to suggestions that the Blancos may be willing to cut their losses on a coach only brought in to succeed Zinedine Zidane over the summer.

As that speculation builds, various candidates have been linked with a position that could soon become vacant.

Conte, as a proven performer who has previously delivered title success in Serie A and the Premier League, is considered to be a leading contender.

The Italian has, however, received no contact from Madrid, despite some reports suggesting that he already has an informal agreement in place to take the reins.

Conte’s brother and agent, Daniele, told sources about the Real rumours: “Antonio is on holiday, he has not received any calls from Real Madrid.

“Yes, Real Madrid is a great team but there has been no contact.”

Conte has been out of work since severing ties with Chelsea.

He was relieved of his duties at Stamford Bridge over the summer as the Blues paved the way for Maurizio Sarri to take the helm.
