The government has been urged to stop importation of tomatoes from neighboring countries such Uganda to empower local farmers.
Speaking to Lolwe during our visit at her farm in Nyahera village, Kisumu West Constituency, Mrs. Mildred Atieno Odeyo, a small scale tomato farmer urged the government to stop the importation of tomato from Uganda but rather empower local farmers to benefit from their farm produce.
