Homa Bay County Governor Cyprian Awiti held talks with Israeli envoy Noah Gal Gendler on Friday at the embassy to discuss collaboration in the sectors of agriculture, water and trade.
Ambassador Gendler said the Israeli government is keen to offer technical support in areas such as; Water distribution to rural communities, Strategies of developing industrial park in conjunction with EPZ by bringing in Israeli expertise, Humanitarian issues related to the recent flush floods and Community agro innovation project.
The Governor pledged committment to work closely with the Israeli government to improve water distribution and provide modern technology in critical sectors that drive the economy of the county.
County executive for Water, Nyawinda, Aguko Juma CEC Agriculture, Livestock, fisheries and food security) and County chief of staff, Eliud Otieno were present during the talks.
