Homa Bay County locals have been urged to practice dairy goat keeping so as to maximize profit.

This is according to Bishop Teresa Korinda who has been keeping dairy goats from 2007 up to now and she says that it has enabled her to provide for her family since then for the milk is healthy for human life.

Madam Korinda added that she makes a lot of cash from keeping the goats for she can make up to 300 kshs daily from milk sales, and goats are sold at 15,000 kshs each both male and female.

In her statement she said that the advantage of keeping dairy goats is that they are capable of delivering twice a year and sometime it gives birth to a twin which is a good investment to a farmer.
