Homa Bay County signs MoUs with Chinese investors

Homa Bay County Governor Cyprian Awiti met a group of Chinese investors who toured the county in bid to exploit opportunities that exist in Infrastructure, Energy, Agro-processing and Tourism among other sectors.
 
County executive members signed various Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with investors in solar energy, Fish processing, affordable housing units through partnership with the national government.
 
Addressing the media at cold springs hotel in Homa Bay, the Governor expressed confidence in the One Belt-One Road Business entity, reiterating his pledge to bring investors to tap the full gains of the county’s natural resources.
 
The 12 member delegation are on a two-day visit in the region to explore investment opportunities in the county and will further discuss the MoUs with the County’s technical department officials.
 
County Executive members, chief officers and local investors were among the Homa Bay delegation at table discussion with the Chinese investors.
