Migori county woman representative Dr. Pamela Odhiambo has condemned ODM chairman John Mbadi of imposing leaders to Migori residents.Pamela who is also a gubernatorial aspirant told Mbadi to stop dictating leadership to the people.Pamela who spoke in Othoch Rakuom in Nyatike criticised ODM for imposing leaders during electioneering periods.
The legislator appealed to Raila Amollo Odinga to address wrongdoings in the party to enable it succeeds in the future insisting that Migori voters should be allowed to choose leaders of their choice.She said there is no way the residents can elect leaders of their choice if Mbadi and other ODM grassroot leaders intervene in favour of one of the candidates who have expressed interest in the seat.She said ODM leaders should desist from issuing reckless statements against other Azimio la Umoja aspirants which may affect Raila’s chances nationally.Mbadi said they will not tolerate politicians who have been creating dissent against Raila and the party in the area.While speaking during the official launch of Rongo MP Paul Abuor’s second term bid at Rongo Primary School grounds, the party national chairman singled out immediate former Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno who will vie for the governor seat through the Jubilee ticket. Mbadi while promising to walk naked in Migori if they elect Otieno in Jubilee said he (Otieno) was behind several attempts to derail Raila and ODM in Nyanza.
