Football fans are shocked by hearing that the Wonder kid Leroy sane isn’t mentioned in the twenty-three squad which the German head coach announced. The 22-year-old has had a brilliant season helping Manchester City win the Premier League with ease, scoring 14 goals in all competitions. But it hasn’t made him to make the cut for the squad in Russia.

Löw attempted to explain the decision to leave Sane out by saying: “That was a very close decision between him and Julian Brandt, which was made in favor of Brandt. Draxler, Reus and Müller are set. Leroy has a huge talent.

“He will be back again from September. He had not arrived in international matches yet.

However, a report has emerged that suggests Löw isn’t entirely telling the truth.

That’s because “The Sun” are claiming that Sane was dropped because of his bad attitude.

They claim that Sane “stunned Germany team-mates with his big-time attitude” before Low’s decision.

They say that Low “risked upsetting other members of the squad” if they picked the City star.

Sane was poor against Austria during their recent friendly defeat but it seems his behaviour around the Germany camp did all the damage.

The PFA Young Player of the Year had developed “a change in his attitude in team meetings and around the German camp” and Löw was happy to stand by his decision to drop Sane.

Almost any other nation couldn’t afford to leave a player of Sane’s quality at home as they travel to the World Cup but Germany probably won’t even miss the youngster.

Pep Guardiola might be having a few words with Sane about his attitude when he returns to City at the start of next season…
