John Macharia the son to SK Macharia Founder and Chairman of Royal Media Services was on Thursday night involved in an accident that occurred at around 10pm where he died at the Karen Hospital where he was rushed for treatment.
He was a director at Direct Line Assurance Company as well as the founder of Triple A Finance.
Police say that John was driving his Porsche Cayenne 911 that collided with a Land Cruiser on the Southern bypass.
Confirming the accident Karen police boss Cunningham Suiyanka said that there was a crash at 10pm on the Southern Bypass where he said that one person died but declined to give further details.
There was another passenger in the car who is believed to have survived.
