The Lake Victoria South Water Works and Development Agency has launched a remote survey if water connections within Migori county to Minimize revenue loss.
Speaking during the handing over of 10,000 liters water tanks to the county government of Migori, Daniel Omini, the agency ‘s Chairperson said a lot of money is lost in revenue due to illegal water connections.
He note that only three quarters of water pumped from their outlet reaches Migori households Omino said that in partnership with the Migori water and sewerage company, they shall seal all loopholes for illegal connections to ensure that water .
The chairperson added that they shall drill boreholes to various parts of the county to increase availability of clean water to rural folk.
