The world Bank is expected to financially support health and education sectors within the western region economic bloc.

Speaking to Lolwe Tv, Kisumu senator Hon. Fred Outa echoed that through the money allocated to the regions, residents within those counties will now be able to get medical cover i.e NHIF.

This will enable them to access good medical care, thus the county governments should support fully such projects that will be spearheaded by the world bank.

Outa added that despite education being under the national government, through the funds from world bank, the system of education within the regions will be strengthened since the funds will boost education mainly in the vocational training centers and polytechnics which are devolved.

He also urged students to enroll in polytechnics within the regions to acquire skills some of which cannot be acquired from universities.
